The Focus & Forbearance (Lo-Fi) is a collection of roughly recorded songs by songwriter Eric Kilgore. These songs cover themes such as the attributes of God, sin, repentance, wrath, kindness and the centrality of Christ in all things since before the foundations of the world... this collection is not for the faint of heart!

These songs come out of a conviction that we MUST view God rightly. We cannot just with know him with our intellect but from the core of our beings, because our "view" of God will in turn affect the way we "view" ourselves which will in turn affect the way we live our lives before Him.

What I mean is that when we catch the smallest glimpse of the Holiness & Character of God, we will then be capable of perceiving "rightly" the reality of our own depravity before a Holy and Righteous God.
I didn't set out to write these songs for anyone else other than my family and those in my community. I had for some time had all of these "concepts" or "revelations" in my heart and shared them with those close to me, but over the course of a few months the Lord allowed me to express the pondering of my soul into these songs. They are meant to be an encouragement and blessing to the Body of Christ.
These songs are more like sermons than they are traditional worship songs. So they may require a little more attention and thought, so put on a pot of coffee, gather your family (or friends) together, and sit down and listen...
